The Swinging Bass Trio was invited to play at the Village Hotel, Walsall, for a private function.
The guests celebrated their 50th year anniversary – they met in late 1960′s. In addition to our repertoire of Gershwin, and American Songbook standards we played some of the very memorable songs from the 1960′s & 70′s.
The Swinging Bass Band has recently played a jazz club gig at Regent Jazz Leicester.
The band played a mix of jazz, swing, Sinatra and great standards.
We also have had an amazing summer of great gigs at great venues!
Here are a few photos and a sound track from earlier in the year. Listen out for that long held note at the end!
